History

In order to meet the development of the national economic construction, moving from agriculture to industrialization, and the needs of business professionals, the department was founded in February 1964. In 1964 this department was established with a 5-year day program for junior high graduates, and a 3-year evening division for senior high and vocational school graduates, and in 1980 a 2-year day program for senior high and vocational graduates was created, and in 1997 a 2-year college Accounting program approved by the Ministry of Education. There were Department of Accounting in the 2-year college, and Department of Accounting and Statistics in the 2-year and 5-year junior college in the day school; in the night school, there are Department of Accounting in the 2-year college and Department of Accounting and Statistics in the 2-year junior college. In 1999 there were established 4-year day and evening college programs. The name of Department of Accounting was changed to Department of Accounting Information in 2005 to meet accounting and computerizing information system. By now, there is provided by a 4-year college program for day school in 2012.
